These are just a few of the many amateurs enjoying themselves in previous OCDX contests.  Most entrants use modest home shacks with barefoot radios and simple wire antennas or multiband beams, although a few have the luxury of amplifiers and monobanders.  Several clubs participate in the contest, so if your home station isn’t up to the job, why not persuade your local club to give it a go?  Failing that, borrow a tent and go portable to catch the DX!
