Charlie VR2XMT will be active in the PH contest using the special call
VR2009EAG
- Steve VK6IR advises that he will be active in the 2009 contest. He
will be operating from the
big station belonging to the Northern Corridor Radio Group, where he operated from last year.
Operation will be on all bands 160 to 10m,
160 & 80m Verticals
40m 3el Yagi
20m 5el Yagi
10 & 15m a big tri-bander
- Andrew VK6IA advises that
members of the Northern Corridor Radio Group will be traveling to Muresk East of Perth to
operate portable in the OCDX Phone contest as VK6NC. Andrew says: "We
should be active on all bands from 160m to 10m with a high power Multi
op station. MS or M2 is yet to be decided.
We have dipoles on 160m and verticals on 80/40m and a Tribander yagi
on 20/15/10m"
- Mike W7DRA says he will be lurking down
the low end of 80m CW whenever the band is open.
- Your webmaster, Geoff ZL3GA, will be
putting in an appearance this year in the CW contest probably SOSB 40m
- Unfortunately ZL6QH will not be active in the 2009 contest due to the antenna farm having to be dismantled to make way for a wind farm. See www.zl6qh.com for more info.
